Course overview

Let’s step it up a notch.

This two day course is our take on competitive shooting with a tactical form of rapid target engagements. Course members will navigate multiple scenarios performing under stress for distances to 1000 yards. Day 1 will consist of classroom knowledge and an understanding of PRS style shooting. Day 2 will be more tactical oriented with stress shoots, alternate shooting positions, rapid engagements and problem solving.

  • External ballistics

  • Wind

  • Problem solving

  • Introduction to competitive shooting

  • Rapid Engagement Techniques (RET)

  • Dope cards

  • Gear selection and considerations

  • Spotting techniques

Packing list:

  • Ammo: 250 rnds of match grade ammo of the same brand and grain weight (224 Valkyrie and up)

  • Sand sock / rear shooting bag (email us for recommendations prior to purchasing)

  • Eye / Ear protection and IFAK

  • Rifle: bolt gun or accurate gas gun (1.5 moa) accuracy or better. 

  • Rifle zeroed prior to arrival

  • Adjustable Scope with 10x or more with a Mil/Mrad or MOA reticle

  • Instruction manual for your optic

  • Mags for rifle and pouches or chest rig to carry mags

  • Bipod for the rifle

  • Ballistic calculator (kestrel or AB app)

  • Binos or spotting scope (if you have it)

  • Tripod

  • Wet / Hot / Cold weather gear (season dependent)

  • Basic tools and cleaning kit for your rifle.

  • Range finder

  • Water, food , snacks are on you

  • Note taking material

  • Quarter back sleeve with index cards for rifle data

  • Knee pads (optional)
